Let's not forget about the TU9900 or if you want a good tuner you can't go wrong with the TU7900. I have this unit and it is one of the warmest sounding tuners I have ever heard. Very sensitive too. The price is starting to creep up on these though. I bought mine for $70 3 years ago and now they are going for almost double that now.
: I've read good things regarding Sansui tuners. I am thinking of purchasing one and so am wondering which three would be the best to select from and, more importantly, where I can purchase one. Any other advice---like what to be careful of---is appreciated.
