You dont mention at all what brand/model speakers you have. However, the AU-919 is truly an excellent amplifier, one of the best Sansui ever made. I have two AU-919's. I can play either AU-919 thru my large 4 ohm Infinity speakers with no problems whatsoever, so I think you should be fine. Enjoy the 919, great amp!
