picked up an au20000 & a tu9900 but ...

...the au20000 started to screech and pop really really loudly after about 20 minutes of play. It did sit unused for 20+ years so maybe that had something to do with the problem.

Anyone else have similiar issues with the AU amps? What happened to mine?! Any ideas?
