Thanks Fred and Sten for your info. Now that I've opened it up and counted the FM gangs, it is really what is stated - a 317 series combo. I though that it was 417/517 series by its apperance. BTW I am thinking of getting the similiar looking TA-300 receiver, is it really worth it or a better receiver?. I'm attracted to the looks and sound of the black/white faced Sansui AU/TU series.
