Great score ! I can only respond to your question about the protection light. What you are discribing is normal. Should flash red for a few seconds then stay green. The 9090 is a very good 125 wpc unit. And worth a lot more than $29.00 In good working & cosmetic condition more like ten times that much. Good Luck & Enjoy !
