Hi,
I found that the R50 receiver sounded bland ( lacking high and low ) when used it as receiver and cd player. This unit has a passive volume and tone control stage and was wondering if this is the cause.
There is an IC stage silk screened on the pcb but no component was inserted. I wonder may be this is the provision for a higher spec R series receiver, may be for the R70.
Would appreciate information or comments on the subject.
