I own an "A-1100" along with a whole set including the:
A-1100 Amplifier/control unit,
T-700 Tuner,
SE-300 Equalizer,
D-75BW Dual Tape Deck,
RS-100 Remote control unit,
P-D15 Turn table,
GX-5655 Component Rack,
S-520U Speaker system
Sound Familier? Well the remote control unit doesnt seem to work quite right, and I am having an issue with the sound from the left side, but I think I can fix that. It works well for me because I can hook up my TV, Computer, 5 CD changer(SONY), the tuner, the tape deck, the turn table, and the equilizer to it, at the same time and with the powerful amplifier and awesome speakers. I am 15... I got the system from my grandfather Merel Pentz...RIP grandpa...
Any sugestions about the system would be helpful, perhaps about the control unit or balence problem. It plays on both speakers, but only faintly on the left. If I adjust the balence to the left it works as normal, but then I dont have sound from the right anymore. It doesnt matter which speaker I hook up to the left audio ports, I still get the same effect. Note that audio from my computer coming into the tape-2 port works perfectly on the left and right sides, however.
