Sansui CDVD 2500 - HELP!

I can't figure this one out... I have a TV/DVD combo. The volume on the TV works just fine - UNTIL I play a DVD - then, there's no volume at all! I can't find anything in the menu options to adjust, and no botton seems to help....

Any suggestions? Thanks!
