No, its not strictly a Euro model, its the next model down from the Top in the Line, TU-999. (if it was Euro model, you could find out in that it would have a 220V sticker in the back, as opposed to USA 120 Volts). Dates to the early 70's. Sansui always made excellent tuners, so if its nice shape and you can buy it for a reasonable price, I think you would be very pleased with it. If you think you might prefer Sansui tuners from the latter part of the 70's, I can recommend the TU-717 as a very good model- you can check the Sansui tuner listings on Ebay, for example, to get a better idea of the various models the company made and the prices theyre selling for to the bidders.
