Hi Pete
This is the only place I know for parting out. Scroll down to Sansui models. Se link below. Unfortunately their prices are rather high.
Try to visit from time to time to see if they have a 7000, SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT or EIGHT DE LUXE which all have same type of buttons.
: Well I went back 21 pgs but didn't see anything Model eight. Can's search archives cause can't regester as new user. ????
: Fred, you seem to be pretty up on these old boat anchors. Do you know of any source for the pushbutton caps I'm referring to? If I could get plastic caps with the with the function label on it I would be happy. I'm missing 4, muting, loudness, reverse, mono. Just the labels. I know I'm probably spittin in the wind here but I'll never know if I don't ask.
: Thanks,
: Pete
: PS: the 7000 is 1 of 2 sweet sansuis I got. The other is a 2000x. Both near mint and working fine. I got the 7000 for nada and gave 35 for the 2000 about 6 yrs ago at a flee mkt.

: : I seem to recall that your question was discussed before in the 'Exclusively Sansui' forum at the Audio Karma site a while ago. I think the labels were asked in regards to the Sansui Model Eight, which is similar to the 7000, so if you do a Search to try and find the discussion in the Archived messages, do a search using the Model Eight as your keyword.
