: : My brother bought a pair of Sansui speakers in the early 70's from a military PX when he got out of the Navy. They had a 12" woofer, two 4 or 5" midranges, two 2-2.5" tweeters, and 1 horn supertweeter.
: : The drivers were mounted real close together on the face, the cones were all brown colored (not black)and the grill was made of wood fashioned in a sort of lattice pattern, with brown cloth behind. The overall speaker size wasn't real big considering all the drivers.
: : Any idea what these were and are they any good?
They sound like sp-2000's to me, but Sansui never had brown cones that I know of; they're grey on this model. Take a look on Ebay to see if these look familiar.
