ok. thx. i shall take a look if i can fix the switch. or else i will just keep it as it is.

: N.R. stands for Noise Reduction. This switch was for a devise to reduce tape hiss noise. Sounds like your switch is broken or having internal bad connection. In essence, what you did was that you created a jumper for the bad switch. I don't think you can find any replacement for it, but if you are skillful enough, you can repair the switch.

: : hi everybody!
: : i bought a sansui au-9500 the other day from a friend of mine for 283,47$.
: : i hope i didnt got ripped off. i love this amplifier. i think its the best thing i ever bought in my life.
: : its working totally fine exept one switch (the N.R Adaptor) that is broken or something like that. the amplifier doesnt work when the switch is turned "out", so i have connected the N.R output and input together and have the switch turned "in" all the time. this is working good but i just wonder if i can fix this in some way. maby by changing the swich. i just wonder what kind of swich i need to buy, and if you can buy those kind of swiches anymore.
