1. Your video head might be dirty, you have to clean it by video head cleaner, either spray cleaner or cassete type or clean it with a small piece of paper touch/clean the video head while rotating the video drum, it is like cleaning a glass with paper, video head tip (you cannot see this unless you open the head) is made of like glass material and can be easily damage, utmost care should be done.This method is not advisable to use if not familiar with electronics.
2. Try to excersise the switches on the back ( or front) like, "test signal" > SHOULD BE OFF position, "system", etc....it may be a dirty switch.
3. Check your video cable or replace with a good one. ( this is for a separate type unit)
4, If still no picture then circuit problem needs a technician.
