The dimming of the lights is a common occurance on the 7070 as well as other models in the line, 9090...5050, and also on some of the QRX model receivers. Its most likely oxidation on the bulb holders thats causing it.
Someone a while back that I corresponded with,(I dont recall exactly who as Ive corresponded with many people), had mentioned a place called Hi Tech Electronics, or maybe its High Tech, I believe its on West 38th St in Manhattan and the guy's name is Nick. I had the address and phone # written somewhere but I cant find it at the moment- I will let you know when I do, or you can perhaps search the White Pages Online for the Info.
