You have a burned resistor that controls the illumination of that green light would be my guess.
If you haven't already go to www.audiokarma.org and search for burned resistor 9090db..
You may find a couple posts you will need to weed through, but the data is there..I know because I had the same problem until I searched there and found the solution.
really easy, cheap fix.

: I have a 9090DB and everything seems to work normally except that when I power it up the red protection light flashes for a few seconds and then goes away but the green light doesn't come on. I just bought the unit and I only seen the green light come on once, and just as fast as it went on it had disappeared. Does anyone know if there's a problem with my unit, or may it just be a bad green LED ?? Thanks.....
