You can get the smaller Renaissance 80's for a bit less- perhaps $800-900, if you look around. The Renaissance models are just Great loudspeakers, they especially excel in their Soundstage ability-in that respect, they simply blow away many other speakers that cannot compete with them. Go to www.audioreview.com and from there select Reviews, Main Speakers, I for Infinity, and scroll down to the Owner Reviews on the Ren 90's and Ren 80's- the unanimous reviews speak for themselves.

Beatlefred thanks for the info. I have been to bobbyshred.com cool site. After reading about all the Infinity speakers on that site I was kind of leaning towards the Referance standard 2.5, the spect`s look like a good match for my reciver. Having never heard any of these speakers I am just taking a stab in the dark. What do you think of the RS 2.5?
I have not done any research on the Renaissance 90 speakers. Will have to look into it.
The guy sell the Qb on e-bay for 150 does not have the stock EMIT tweeter.
