So yes, I did hook it up to my 50W Jensen CJ-R speakers. And the sound is awesome. But there is a problem.

I just put the volume on 3 (range 1 - 10) and my speakers are not taking it very well. The sound quality is there as long as I don't crank up the volume.

The speakers are new. IS it possible the 50W rating on the Jensen's is really 50 W peak to peak, i.e. 25 Watts? And then if I convert 15 RMS to "normal" wattage I might be exceeding what speaker can truly deliver?
