: The AU-719 came out in the generation of integrated amps made after the AU-717, along with the AU-919. I dont know who it is that you asked for the Service Manual, so I dont know why you didnt get a response. You can check the 'Exclusively Sansui' forum at www.audiokarma.org there are some AK members who live in Canada who could probably recommemd a reputable audio repair shop.

Thanks BeatleFred - I'll snoop around AK. I'm still not sure what the difference is between the two amps - does the 719 have basically the same specs with some minor circuitry updates? I did find the 719 has no pre-out/power-in connectors, which limits its potential somewhat (only because I also have a minty Luxman CL-350 preamp looking for work). I'm sure it will be a great-sounding amp anyway...
Regarding the manuals, I didn't want to name any names in case there were unusual circumstances preventing this individual from contacting me. But what the heck - it was stereomanuals.com (contacted 12 days ago, with two follow-ups, and still nothing). Any suggestions?
I'm anxious to get this baby serviced and run it with my SP-5500's - hopefully this will prove to be a good marriage of components for my vinyl collection.
